Chef As a Chef at Silverdale Holiday Park, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking food from our menu with care, efficiency, and attention to both detail and quality. This role requires someone with a strong focus on kitchen hygiene, time management, and a real passion for consistently producing well-made and well-presented dishes. What hours will I work: 40 hours a week, over 5 days Monday to Sunday. Location: Holgates Caravan Park, Silverdale. Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience. Who will you report to? Head Chef Main Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present food items from the menu to a consistently high standard. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Manage prep work and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked for service. Work effectively as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment. Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service. Take pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and friendly working environment. Qualifications / Experience: Essential Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook. Knowledge of culinary techniques and experience with various kitchen equipment. Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes consistently. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Positive attitude and team spirit. Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above). Desirable Level 2 in Professional Cookery What are the Benefits?
