We have a brilliant opportunity for a Band 5 Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to join the Peterborough Mental Health Support Team with a team base in Hampton, Peterborough.
Eligibility
* You must be a qualified EMHP.
* You must be registered with either the BPS or BABCP, or be in the process of registering and intend to register as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based early interventions to parents and young people across both educational settings and healthcare sectors.
* Provide early intervention for mild to moderate mental health difficulties (anxiety, worries and fears, behaviour, low mood) in partnership with education settings.
* Conduct assessments of children, young people, parents and carers within your scope of practice.
* Travel to allocated schools within the area to provide support.
* Work autonomously as a practitioner alongside a multidisciplinary mental health team.
* Participate in regular supervision to support your professional development.
