Location: Manchester, UK (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)
Duration: 12 months contract
Role Overview: This role is responsible for owning and driving the digital design vision of the learning experience, providing thought leadership in creating and curating impactful and innovative learning experiences to address knowledge, skill, performance, and behaviour gaps.
The role includes managing all branding aspects, safeguarding visual content quality and integrity, and collaborating with cross-departmental teams and external agencies for content, design, and delivery.
Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors is essential to align digital learning initiatives with the L&D strategy and business needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Create, organize, and maintain a centralized knowledge base for Talent Development digital content, ensuring quality, asset management, licenses, and learner-centric solutions. Measure, scale, report, and mitigate risks as needed.
2. Collaborate with other departments to support business growth and serve as the main contact for all L&D digital content, addressing new challenges and removing friction.
3. Lead continuous innovation, experimentation, and creative capabilities, ensuring learning solutions follow design principles and market trends for optimal learner experience and business value.
4. Research, design, and develop diverse learning experiences, including content creation and curation catering to various abilities and learning styles.
5. Develop and review standards, processes, and tools to ensure experiences meet objectives, timelines, and impact metrics. Continuously improve to keep experiences relevant and engaging.
6. Stay updated on new learning technologies and market developments, benchmarking internal practices against industry standards.
7. Demonstrate thought leadership and innovative practices by evaluating and implementing new technologies and processes for business impact and benefits.
8. Manage external vendor partnerships, including sourcing, negotiation, commissioning, and relationship management, with budget responsibility.
9. Design experiences with a human-centered approach, partnering internally and externally to optimize tooling, testing, and engagement.
