Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market is looking to recruitField Service Trainee to support our customers and OEMs across India.
We are an award-winning company, with our head office based in Scotland, by Glasgow Airport and have a very strong reputation in the marketplace.
Reporting to Territory Service In charge this role will involve extensive travel.
Main Job functions:
* Understanding service requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
* Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
* Conduct routine maintenance, breakdown repairs and installations at customer sites.
* Maintain stock and toolkit
* Raising concerns and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
* Solid Understanding on Flow and Pressure Parameters and traveling to customers sites.
* Observing health and safety regulations.
* Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.
* Writing reports according to Inspection, activity performed, and solution offered.
* Updating SAP CRM with up-to-date service information.
* Taking notes and sharing your findings with your supervisor and other relevant stakeholders.
* Establishing professional relationships with staff.
* Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence.
* Location: PAN India requirement basis
Skills required
* Diploma / Graduate in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Superb time management and professionalism.
* A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticism.
* A valid driver’s license will be required.
