This is a Relief Contract, Part-Time vacancy.
The Vacancy
Are you looking for a role in social care that offers the opportunity to work across different support services? Are you flexible, adaptable, and a team player? Join Quarriers as a Relief Support Worker covering shifts across Renfrewshire.
Quarriers is seeking skilled, driven, and motivated Relief Support Workers to join our newly created central relief pool.
You will support various teams and services with unfilled shifts or gaps in rotas, providing practical support to people with complex needs such as autism, epilepsy, mental health issues, physical disabilities, and communication support needs.
We are looking for dedicated and reliable candidates who are eager to join Quarriers' mission to nurture supportive relationships, deliver high-quality care, and promote inclusive communities.
Why should you join Quarriers relief pool?
"I have really enjoyed the opportunity to work in different services and meet a wider group of people. I’m not able to commit to shifts in advance as my partner works away. This role gives me the opportunity to pick up shifts at short notice, which suits my family dynamic." - Lorraine (Support Worker)
"The staff pool is an experience for people who are open to new ideas, working environments, challenges, and creating new contacts. I recently joined the relief staff pool, and the past few weeks have been amazing. It has broadened my horizons and given me a better understanding of Quarriers as an organization and its long history." - Jeff (Relief Support Worker)
Essential requirements to be considered
* Previous experience working in social care.
* A full, valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
