Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive nursing care children, and adolescents in a variety of settings, including general paediatric wards, paediatric emergency department and paediatric intensive care units.
* Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and carry out treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
* Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
* Offer emotional support and comfort to children and their families during challenging times.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United Kingdom.
* Paediatric Nursing Qualification.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
* Previous paediatric nursing experience is essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
