Senior Production Team Leader, Robroyston, £31,000 to £35,000 dependant on experience We are recruiting for a Production Team Leader to work at our clients' site in Robroyston, Glasgow. What you'll be doing: As a Production Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient production processes. Your responsibilities will include: Actively manage and drive Health & Safety performance within the team Leading the team to deliver the daily, weekly and monthly production plans and the department KPI's Working closely with the planning team to ensure operational targets and objectives achieved Ensuring quality of product maintained to both internal and external standards Identify opportunities for improvement within production areas and implement corrective actions where possible Attending production and operational meetings whilst reporting directly to the Operations Director Investigating non conformance issues - escalation as appropriate Identifying training needs and implement ongoing training and development to ensure operators maintain and exceed required standards Driving team engagement and motivating staff to deliver on targets, goals and expectations Effectively manage team performance to ensure operators are maximising their capability within their role Daily management of team ensuring compliance with company procedures including: Following SOP's and work instructions in line with GMP standards Use of machinery, equipment and tools Product quality and compliance Lean manufacturing methodologies Attendance, timekeeping, breaks, holiday and performance procedures What you can expect: A permanent position offering a stable and secure work environment Working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday Free on-site parking Competitive pension scheme Competitive holiday allowance Private healthcare including healthcare cashback scheme Annual bonus Relaxed casual dress code Investment in training & development What we're looking for: Ability to develop and engage a high performing team Previous experience of managing / leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Self-motivated with a genuine drive for achieving production targets and operational excellence Experience of championing continuous improvement methodologies within a manufacturing setting A solid work history An enthusiastic can-do attitude If you're interested in working for a well-respected business, then we'd love to hear from you.
