About the role
Demand Planning Manager is key to the strategic decisions we make in our Pharmacy Hub. You will own the planning & forecasting processes within the business while establishing a sales & operations planning function (S&OP) across all brands & geographies within the HeliosX Group. The role will be responsible for the creation & management of forecasting, purchasing & capacity planning inputs/calculations.
Key Responsibilities
 * Work with commercial, finance, product & operational management teams to define standard processes, global forecast requirements across buying, manufacturing & fulfilment operations.
 * Create & manage the tools / trackers / dashboards used across a number of teams to plan labour, activity & costs.
 * Work closely with commercial & product management teams to have their input in the demand profiles & develop the right cadence of reviews with them.
 * Ongoing governance, audit & continuous improvement of all the demand & inventory planning standard work including the use of ERP systems.
 * Set up & run monthly sales & operations planning (S&OP) meetings with growth teams.
 * Review item forecasts for new, existing & discontinued products.
 * Collaborate with retail, consumer sales & Operations teams to facilitate effective demand planning.
 * Prioritise production & purchasing based on supply chain deficits, product demand & sales forecasts.
 * Propose & implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
 * Provide actionable data analysis to support business cases for demand plans using data-driven methods.
What you’ll bring
Experience:
 * Proven experience in a Manufacturing/ Supply Chain /Logistics planning environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
 * Proven demand planning skills, inventory modelling & product forecasting.
 * Previous experience of creating, developing & embedding S&OP processes / tools.
 * Full understanding of the S&OP process & how key stakeholders input to the process.
 * Start-up / scale-up experience, demonstrating working in high growth operations with both scale & complexity.
 * Rigorous attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
 * Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also being able to collaborate cross-functionally.
 * A leader & critical thinker with an eye for continuous improvement.
Skills:
 * Experience with SQL, Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, PowerBI or similar systems / tools.
 * Detailed working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
 * Data driven with the ability to master complex business problems.
 * Fluent in statistics, spreadsheets & root cause analysis methodologies.
 * Great communication skills across various stakeholder management.
 * Demonstrated business acumen & decision making skills.
