Intensive Support Worker - Specialist Mobilisation Team
Location: Doncaster (travel required). Pay: Tier 1 - £20.00 per hour + mileage; Tier 2 - £22.00 per hour + mileage (enhanced clinical duties). Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (full-time, rolling rota) with overnight stays when required.
We are launching a brand-new Specialist Mobilisation Team dedicated to setting up and stabilising complex care packages across Doncaster and beyond. The team will play a vital role in our growth by ensuring safe, high-quality care is delivered from day one while permanent local teams are being established. Between new mobilisations, you will also support existing complex care packages to provide consistency and continuity of care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised, high-quality care to individuals with complex health needs.
* Support safe hospital discharges and mobilisation of new care packages.
* Provide clinical support in line with individual care plans.
* Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience: At least 5 years' UK health and social care experience, including complex clinical care.
* Core clinical skills (Tier 1): Bowel & bladder management, catheter care, bladder washouts, manual evacuation; non-invasive respiratory support (CPAP, Bi-Pap); basic physiotherapy (e.g. passive movements); enteral feeding (feeds and medication administration); Learning Disability & Autism support, including behaviours of concern.
* Tier 2 Specialist Skills (£22.00 per hour + mileage): In addition to Tier 1 skills, confidence in airway management (tracheostomy care and invasive ventilation), prescribed suctioning (nasopharyngeal/oropharyngeal), and supporting people with complex behaviours.
