This role is ideally suited to a newly qualified chartered accountant looking to make their first move from practice into industry.

Financial Reporting & Month-End
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
* Prepare monthly reconciliations to a high standard using Blackline.
* Support preparation of statutory accounts in line with US GAAP/UK GAAP.
Audit & Compliance
* Act as a key point of contact for external auditors for the local audit.
* Support in gathering relevant information for the Group audit.
* Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and procedures.
* Support tax and regulatory filings where required.
* Prepare VAT returns for the Group.
Process & Systems
* Support improvements in financial processes and controls.
* Assist with ERP system enhancements, reporting tools, and automation projects.
* Identify opportunities for efficiency and best practice.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/UK GAAP).
* Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
Desirable
* Experience auditing clients in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing sectors.
* Experience or knowledge of US GAAP.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system.
* Experience with Blackline.
* Interest in progressing into commercial finance/business partnering in the future.
