Salary: £34,000 per annum
Location: Glasgow

Working Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37 hours a week (8 hours Monday – Thursday, 5 hours Friday)

This is an exciting engineering graduate programme designed to create the next generation of aspiring engineering experts, specialists and leaders for Thales in the UK. We are looking for people with a passion for engineering and/or design and development combined with an inquisitive mind and an intrinsic interest in people, leadership and success through teamwork. Embark on your Development, Security, Operations (DevSecOps) career at the forefront of innovation, where you’ll automate, secure, and optimise the delivery pipeline for advanced embedded, application, and cloud‑based software solutions. Work with cutting‑edge tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Nexus, Yocto, Docker, and modern static analysis platforms, while ensuring the highest standards of security and quality across a diverse range of technologies and operating environments Linux, Windows, VxWorks, and more. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in scripting for automation and orchestration with languages like Python and Bash, manage resilient servers, and support critical networking infrastructure.
Graduate Programme
This a 3-year programme with the option to rotate, in Year 3, around the country across different business units experiencing different parts of an engineering lifecycle. You will be assigned to a succession of new or existing programmes where you will work with and be supported by other engineers to design and develop engineering solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
During your time on the programme you will be under the sponsorship and guidance of the Engineering Leadership team and will follow a structured and detailed learning pathway to fast track your development within your role.

* Degree: Bachelor’s in STEM (Computer Science, Computing, Computing and Data Science, Software Engineering) or related technical degree
