Our client is currently recruiting a Marketing Coordinator on a permanent (staff) basis. The role will be based in Aberdeen and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Co-ordinator to support our oil and gas client based in Aberdeen. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is confident working across multiple marketing channels, and can help elevate brand presence across digital platforms, client materials, and industry events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Management
* Manage, update, and grow the company’s LinkedIn presence.
* Plan and schedule posts aligned with business objectives and industry activity.
* Monitor engagement, analytics, and trends to optimise performance.
Presentations & Sales Support
* Supporting with formatting, design, and preparation of client-facing presentations and pitch materials.
* Ensure all materials are visually consistent and brand aligned.
Website Management
* Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
* Upload case studies, news updates, and marketing materials in a timely manner.
Brochures & Marketing Collateral
* Collaborate with an external partner to create and update Sales and Product brochures.
* Coordinate design, content, and internal approvals.
Case Studies
* Prepare high-quality case studies showcasing client projects and operational successes.
* Upload and share across website, LinkedIn, and with clients as required.
* Conferences & Events
* Work closely with the Sales team to plan and prepare conference/exhibition stand layouts, branding, and promotional content.
* Coordinate event materials, displays, and logistics where needed.
Newsletters
* Collaborate with an external partner to plan, design, and distribute company newsletters.
* Collect updates, success stories, and departmental contributions.
* Promotional Materials & Merchandise
* Coordinate the sourcing, design, and order of branded merchandise and promotional materials.
* Manage stock levels and maintain supplier relationships.
Digital Marketing
* Support the execution of digital marketing initiatives including campaigns, email marketing, content creation, and analytics reporting.
* Recommend digital improvements and opportunities for brand visibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
* Experience in a marketing, communications, or similar role.
* Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
* Confident in using LinkedIn for corporate marketing.
* Familiarity with website CMS platforms.
* Proficient in PowerPoint and comfortable with presentation formatting.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent attention to detail and brand consistency.
Desirable
* Experience within the energy or oil & gas sector.
* Basic understanding of graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
* Experience working with external designers/agencies.
* Knowledge of digital marketing tools or analytics platforms.
