Im hiring a Finance Data & Insights Consultant to join a leading UK financial services organisation on a 12-month FTC.

The role
Youll play a key role within the finance function, supporting:
* Finance partnering and planning processes
* Performance analysis and forecasting
* Data-driven decision-making across the business
This is a hands-on analytical role with strong stakeholder exposure, where youll be translating complex data into clear, actionable insight.
What youll be doing
* Deliver data-driven insight to support business performance and strategy
* Build and develop forecasting models and performance analysis
* Support planning and reforecasting processes across the business
* Develop and improve reporting and dashboards
* Work closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders to interpret data and shape decisions
* Contribute to automation, data platform improvements, and process optimisation
* Support knowledge sharing and help build capability across the team
What you bringMust-haves
* Strong experience in data analysis and insight delivery
* Experience using tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI or similar
* Experience building forecasting models and performance reporting
* Ability to translate complex data into clear business insight
* Strong stakeholder engagement - comfortable working across finance and business teams
Nice to have
* Experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or commercial finance
* Experience working in regulated or corporate environments
* Experience supporting process improvements or automation initiatives
