Warehouse Operative/Driver - Stockton-on-Tees - Plumb Centre

As a Warehouse Operative./Driver based in Stockton-on -Tees, you will be responsible for:
1. Working within the warehouse - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
2. Goods in - Receive, check, and store incoming stock accurately and safely and update the system
3. Goods out - Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in line with company procedures
4. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety in the branch
5. Serving customers on the trade counter and via phone and email by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations
6. Driving a vehicle to make deliveries to customers (This will involve manual handling heavy stock)
This is a permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between - and Saturday on a rota basis -
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
7. A full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
8. Warehouse experience - a forklift licence is desirable
9. To be comfortable with lifting heavy items
10. Confidence to interact with customers
11. Dependable, hardworking team player who is open to learning to support in all areas of the branch
12. A positive and enthusiastic attitude
