Additional payments of £1239 market supplement and 2% Recruitment and retention allowance paid monthly.

We are looking to appoint a Team Manager within one of our Assessment Teams.
You will have experience of supervising and overseeing social workers undertaking assessments in Child in Need, Child Protection, Cared for Children, and Care proceedings. There will be an expectation that you will be confident in decision making relating to children in need of support and protection and will provide high quality reflective supervision and quality assurance to the social workers in your team. You will be expected to work collaboratively with partner agencies to provide a high level of support and intervention in response to assessed need.
You will lead a small social work team and benefit from a high level of support in your role from an Assistant team Manager, you will receive support and mentoring from the senior management team to support you in your management role. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
