Band 7 Pharmacists – ECMS Medical Specialties
(1 Post) Permanent | Full Time (37 hours/week)
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced pharmacists to join our innovative medical pharmacy team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI). These permanent Band 7 positions offer an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care in a supportive environment.
As a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert pharmaceutical input to a variety of medical patients, many with complex needs. GRI is one of the UK's largest acute hospitals, known for clinical excellence and service modernization. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills across specialties including:
* Respiratory
* Endocrinology
* Cardiology
* Acute medical receiving
* Medical High Dependency Unit (MHDU)
Qualifications include:
* Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) aligned with GPhC standards
* Completion of training or demonstrated competency per RPS Post-registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum
This full-time role is Monday to Friday, with participation in weekends, public holidays, extended hours, and on-call rotas as needed.
