The HR Advisor is the first point of contact for all HR, recruitment and onboarding related topics, responsible for the key first steps in HR deliverables to departments, you will be the go-to person for all technical HR, recruitment and onboarding needs. Effective organisational, communication and diplomacy skills are essential. Key HR Responsibilities: Be a key ambassador for our vision, values and ethics, working with employees and managers to showcase best practice and make corrections when needed. First HR contact for all employee related questions or concerns. Provide accurate, consistent and proactive advice, guidance and support to employees and managers. Partner with managers or supervisors to conduct investigations, disciplinaries and performance issues as needed. Develop programmes that enhance employee relations. Mediate where necessary between employees in conjunction with their managers. Manage long term sick and all associated processes. Manage all the HR administration, including the collection of return to work forms, letters of concerns, probationary reviews, enrolment of benefit programs etc,. Manage the Occupational Health process, work with our occupational health provider to provide services in line with the Health Screening Policy including, reviewing who needs tests carried out in compliance with the policy, Booking the occupational health visits, and being the key contact for the occupational health whilst onsite. Work with the HR & Compliance Director to become the champion of our UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) system, ensuring the accuracy of the data held and the data entered and identify developments areas to meet the needs of the business. Provide content for approval for the UKG “News and Information” and “Company Information” section and the interactive TV screens. Manage the Employee of the Month scheme, sending reminder e-mails and providing a spreadsheet for the Leadership Team to select the winners. Analyse all HR trends including exit interview data, discipline, grievance, capacities PIPs etc. Guardian of our environmental, social and governance principles (ESG) working with our partners at INW corporate and leaders at Bee Health to ensure compliance. Work with the wider operational teams on the community involvement program, ensuring we are having a positive impact on the local community. Create and manage an employee activity, event program to aid awareness and team spirit around the social, health & wellness of our employees. (Breast cancer awareness or prostate cancer awareness months etc.) Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation. Key Training Responsibilities: Provide training to employees as directed by the HR & Compliance Director including: On the job, short take training within departments to employees Induction / Orientation training with new hires, including second inductions held at their 60 day point. Check in with all new hires on their 30, 60 and 90 day milestones. Manage and assist the HR team with all Monday.com boards, including the induction, recruitment and training boards. Recruitment & Onboarding responsibilities: Manage the full end to end recruitment process, this includes all hourly paid roles: Post adverts which are clear, accurate and in line with our recruitment strategy. Build an effective pipeline of candidates to allow for peaks in the production and manufacturing areas. Screening candidates (Including assessments where necessary) and drawing up shortlists of candidates for interview based on a benchmark of attributes agreed. Effectively recruit the best talent possible utilising different recruitment processes through monitoring and reviewing applications Interviewing candidates in line with our recruitment process and agreed criteria whilst coaching and developing our managers to interview to a high standard. Provide a full professional recruitment experience through effective communication to candidates, whether successful or not. Provide all associated new hire paperwork (offer letters, contracts, new starter packs etc.) to successful candidates. Collect and verify all UK right to work documents in line with Home Office Guidelines and save to our Integrated UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) HR system. Manage and provide statistical data regarding the recruitment processes, analysing where continuous improvements are to be made. This includes time to fill, cost per hire, diversity, hiring manager satisfaction and candidate satisfaction. Bee Health is a 24/7 operation and although this role has core office hours, there are times when work outside of these hours will be required. Salary: c£38,000 plus 5% bonus potential Qualifications Desired: CIPD Level 5 or above, or willingness to work towards through training sponsorship.
