Kinetic Recruitment are currently resourcing for a Project Planner for a global client within the Energy sector. The role will be on an initial temporary contract with a view to being made permanent for the right candidate.As Project Planner you will be required to support the delivery team with their project programmes. You will be responsible for storage of all project plans and ensure that updates are provided by those responsible for delivering the project. This may require some travelling to either an office location or site. Responsibilities:Provide draft work schedules for tender submission.Contribute to the continued improvement of the planning process.Develop KPI's to enable measurement of the planning function performance .Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, Engineering, Order WinningReviewing plans, checking they comply with customer requirements, creating revisions and archiving outdated versions.Distribute documents to the relevant people, departments or organisations, letting them know when they need to take action on a plan as part of a process.Make sure that departments are following the correct procedures in the planning process. Skills and Experience;3-5 years as Project Planner preferably within the energy sectorProficient in Microsoft Project and Primavera 6Experience working on National Grid projects Location - ideally Newcastle or Leeds however other locations will be consideredMust have a full clean drivers licence as travel to customer sites or offices in Leeds and Newcastle will be required.
