The Delta Hotels by Marriott Waltham Abbey are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our Kitchen team.

Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:
Work with the Head Chef to manage the day to day operations in the kitchen
Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
Support, train and develop other chef's in the team
Use your creative flair and attention to detail to create dishes that put smiles on faces
Safety and Company Policies:
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Communicate with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Support the team to reach common goals
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
