You’ll be joining a well-established construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Scotland. They are currently working on a new-build care home development in Banchory and are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of this project.
Your new role
As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating trades, ensuring health and safetypliance, monitoring progress against programme, and maintaining quality standards throughout the build. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered on time and to specification.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role within construction
2. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site procedures
3. Excellent organisational andmunication skills
4. Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain quality standards
5. Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid are highly desirable
