Your Responsibilities
As our new KS1 Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
✅ Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
✅ Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and ensure progress for every child.
✅ Foster early literacy and numeracy skills through creative, hands-on learning.
✅ Promote a love of learning and curiosity in young pupils.
✅ Work closely with parents and carers to support children’s development at home and school.
✅ Collaborate with the wider staff team to share ideas and best practice.
What We’re Looking For
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✔ Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a clear understanding of early learning needs.
✔ A nurturing, reflective, and child-centred teaching approach.
✔ Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and effective classroom practice.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✔ A commitment to inclusive education and supporting all learners to thrive.
