What will I be doing?
1. Playing an integral part in branch operations within a small warehouse team, ensuring customer deliveries are well-provisioned, and maintaining proper branch layout, safety standards, and storage efficiency.
2. Driving a 3.5-tonne Van in Greater London, Central London, and Hertfordshire, making deliveries and ensuring safe, correct delivery of orders to customers' premises.
3. Loading company vehicles efficiently to prevent stock damage and minimize delivery time, verifying delivery details, and ensuring stock is in good condition before obtaining proof of delivery.
4. Assisting in preparing orders for delivery, including picking, checking, and packing, as well as all aspects of warehouse production delegated by management.
5. Ensuring the safe return of stock and completing daily/weekly paperwork, including declarations.
6. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and adhering to all health and safety requirements.
7. Using manual handling techniques correctly and planning to meet deadlines effectively.
