Roding Valley High School, part of the forward‑thinking Chelmsford Learning Partnership, is looking for a proactive and hands‑on Deputy Premises Manager to help keep our school running at its best. * Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day site operations
* Supervise and support a caretaking team
* Ensure the site is safe, compliant, and fully operational
* Oversee maintenance, repairs, and contractors
* Manage health & safety checks and compliance processes
* Support school lettings and community use
* Step up as Deputy to the Premises Manager
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in premises, facilities or caretaking roles
* Confidence leading or supervising a team
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance
* Hands‑on skills in maintenance and repairs
* Ability to prioritise, organise and respond to challenges
* A calm, reliable and solutions‑focused approach
IOSH or similar qualification (or willingness to gain) required.
