The Old Ship is a family-owned 17th Century traditional village public house in a rural setting in The Chilterns which after a long closure will reopen in spring 2026.
We are hiring for the following positions:
Kitchen Assistant.
Full or Part-time. 7 day a week positions.
Competitive rate of pay based on experience.
Duties/Requirements include:
· Minimum level 2 food hygiene qualification.
· Dish up and serve prepared call order foods during lunchtime.
· Prepare, make and serve sandwiches, ploughman’s, salads, chips etc on a call order basis.
· Assist with cleaning of tables during service.
· Cleaning and washing up and compliance with kitchen cleaning schedule.
