Director Of Nursery Operations Job Summary This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in management and experience working with children. The Director of Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our organisation, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking someone with previous experience managing different and multiple nursery settings at the same tme and reporting to share holders. Starting Salary: £67,000pa - £75,000pa (Negotiable) + Paid Holidays, Further Training and Career progression opportunities, Car Allowance, Pension, Bonus. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the organisation, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, visiting different nursery settings. Manage staff, providing leadership and support to create a positive workplace culture. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with educational staff to ensure high-quality childcare and early childhood education programmes are delivered. Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders to promote transparency and trust. Monitor the performance of nursery operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care, adhering to health and safety regulations. Conduct regular assessments of staff performance, providing feedback and opportunities for professional development. Requirements Proven management experience in an operational role, preferably within childcare or early childhood education settings. Hold Early Years Qualification such as a BA in early years education from Uk or overseas university, CACHE, NVQ, BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with staff, parents, and stakeholders. A background in early childhood education Ability to drive as required for operational needs; a valid driving licence is preferred.
