Ground Trials Engineer
Salary: Circa £45,000-£57,000 – depending on experience.
Working arrangement: dynamic hybrid model with periods of on‑site presence during key testing phases. Some off‑site work and periods of remote work are also required.
Security clearance: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship. Successful candidates will need to pass HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Role Overview
The Ground Trials Engineer will support the planning and delivery of EMC and Environmental proving programmes for the CAMM Family Missile Systems Programme. This includes involvement in obsolescence programmes supporting the sustainment of the system into its next life phase.
Responsibilities
* Support the development of detailed proving programmes alongside Environmental Engineering, Systems and Design teams.
* Develop programme plans for EMC and Environmental proving programmes.
* Create and manage trials documentation to support programme delivery.
* Support the delivery of environmental and EMC testing, including conduct and reporting.
* Assist the broader Ground Trials team under the direction of the Ground Trials Manager to deliver the team’s overall work packages.

* Experience in environmental/EMC ground trials is beneficial or preferential.
* Strong problem‑solving mindset.
* Excellent communication skills, especially for progress reporting, facilitating investigations, and resource/facility planning.
