Overview
Position: Sales Administrator | Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 | Location: Pulborough | Hours: Monday – Friday (onsite)
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support the daily operations of a busy sales office and contribute to the company’s marketing activities. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong administrative skills with a creative approach to marketing, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Sales Administration: Act as the first point of contact for incoming phone and email enquiries.
* Prepare customer quotations, process orders, and manage after-sales documentation.
* Liaise closely with internal departments (Production, Purchasing, and Logistics) to ensure orders and deliveries are processed smoothly.
* Coordinate shipment of goods via courier, air, or sea freight, including relevant export documentation.
* Support the Sales Manager in maintaining accurate customer records and the efficient running of the sales office.
* Marketing Coordination: Contribute to raising the company’s brand profile through creative marketing campaigns.
* Maintain and develop the customer database and CRM systems.
* Plan and execute email marketing campaigns and support social media activity, especially LinkedIn.
* Update website content such as product information, datasheets, and news features.
* Assist with SEO initiatives to improve online visibility.
* Create marketing materials including brochures, adverts, and exhibition displays.
* Organise and coordinate company participation in trade shows and promotional events.
Candidate Profile
* Education: Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (with a marketing emphasis preferred).
* Experience: 2–5 years in a sales administration or marketing support role, ideally within a manufacturing or export environment.
* Working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts or similar business systems is beneficial.
* Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organisational abilities. Confident using MS Office, CRM tools, and social media platforms.
* Energetic, customer-focused, and proactive, with genuine enthusiasm for sales coordination and marketing projects.
