Role Overview
NECSWS has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional with specific knowledge of the Public Safety sector, including Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.
The ideal candidate will have experience in product demonstrations and tender responses.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist the sales team with bid responses, collaborating with product, development, and portfolio teams.
* Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
* Interpret demonstration scenarios to design product configurations.
* Demonstrate NEC Safety portfolio functionalities for new business and account management presentations.
* Serve as a subject matter expert during the sales process.
* Understand related Safety products such as control rooms, policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
* Support roles for junior and senior pre-sales, with senior roles handling major bids over £20m.
Qualifications
* Presales experience or proven presentation capabilities, ideally with public sector clients.
* Knowledge of the Safety business arena.
* Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of the Public Safety market.
* Understanding of customer requirements in the Public Safety sector.
* Government security clearance.
* Full understanding of government and safety environments.
* Market awareness and competitive analysis skills.
* Ability to interact effectively with high-level managers and officers.
* Customer retention focus and high customer satisfaction.
* Adaptability in demonstration situations and ability to deliver complex demos under deadlines.
* Support for proposal writing and post-demo follow-up.
* Ambassadorial skills for NEC capabilities.

* Strong written skills for bid responses.
