Location: Brighton - Moulsecoomb Salary: £31,236 to £34,610 per annum Closing Date: Tuesday 09 December 2025 Reference: MK5092-25-259

Please note: There are two positions available – one that is a one year fixed term contract and one that is permanent. If you are willing to be considered for both, please make a clear note on your answer to Question 1 in the application form so you only need to fill in one application form.

Based within the Student Recruitment Events team, this role is responsible for the organisation and delivery of open days, applicant days, postgraduate open evenings, campus tours and other activities aimed to provide opportunities for prospective students, their families and school and college groups, to visit the university, both on campus and virtually.

The student recruitment events teamwork through multiple stages of the student recruitment journey – with events from initial interest in the university (Open Days) through to events specifically curated to encourage enrolment from applicants and offer holders (Applicant Days).

You will work with colleagues in Marketing and Communications, other central services, and academic colleagues to deliver programmes of activity designed to encourage the recruitment and conversion of potential students to assist the university in achieving its recruitment and access and participation targets.


The Successful Candidate Will Have

* Experience of organising and delivering large scale events to fixed deadlines
* The ability to communicate effectively and to prioritise your own workload.
* Experience of organising targeted subject recruitment events at a university
* Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant work experience
* Experience of supervising staff or volunteers.

The post will require regular weekend and out of hours working. Please note that agile working is supported in this role with the team currently working in the office every Tuesday throughout the year and multiple days per week in the lead up to each event.

We are planning to hold interviews over 18th and 19th December in person on our Moulsecoomb campus.
