Are you experienced in building maintenance and management with an HNC in Building Surveying, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering?
We're recruiting for an Estates Officer to join our team based at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford. This role will be supporting our Estates Hub B which covers several of our sites across Oxfordshire.
You’ll be a member of a multi‑skilled estates team with the primary role of optimising & maintaining the quality and condition of our properties to ensure buildings are kept in a safe condition.
You’ll lead the estates team on planned and reactive maintenance with your excellent understanding of building mechanisms including electrical, plumbing, plant safety systems and equipment. You’ll also be procuring materials whilst maximizing quality and cost effectiveness.
Administration duties including rota planning, management of sickness, disciplinary & annual leave require attention to detail and good organisation.

Main duties of the job
* Day‑to‑day management of operational estates
* Allocating reactive and planned maintenance to appropriate resource
* Management of contractors including permits to work
* Procurement of materials and management of stock
* Produce job specs, procure quotes quotes and arrange contractor works.
* Staff management including sickness absence and disciplinary
* Financial responsibilities including invoice process
