Salary: S01 £34,434-£36,363 FTE (£31,083-£32,824 actual per year)
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, term-time plus 2 weeks

The Behaviour Coordinator will:
* Respond and deal effectively with behaviour incidents.
* Promote a positive, optimistic attitude to learning and achievement and act as a role model.
* Provide support to individual, and groups of students, promoting pupil engagement.
* Challenge and motivate pupils, and take advantage of opportunities to improve, promote and reinforce self-esteem.
* Under advice from senior staff, devise programmes of support for pupils, either through group work or individual support.
* Provide information and advice to enable students to make choices about their own learning and behaviour.
* Create and maintain effective intervention strategies and contribute to the development of individual action plans.
* Develop a mentoring relationship with students needing support, aimed at achieving the objectives in their individual action plans.
* Attend review meetings (including safeguarding meetings, as appropriate).
* Monitor the progress of support and provide feedback to teachers, parents, students and other appropriate professionals.
