SALARY £14 PER HOUR, OVER 18's ONLY, FULL DBS CHECK WILL BE CARRIED OUT PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT
WORKING 10AM - 6.30PM TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY AND ALTERNATE SATURDAY MORNINGS. EXTRA SHIFTS MAY BE AVAILABLE.
Newnham Housing and Support Ltd has been providing support for over 20 years promoting independence. The role is to support 2 adults who have mild learning disabilities to maintain living within their own home.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Organise their daily living and activities.
* Support every day tasks such as shopping, cooking, budgeting.
* Manage weekly timetables and appointments.
* Maintain records and care plans.
* Deal with any issues that may arise with support from management.
KEY SKILLS:
* Excellent communication skills.
* The ability to lone work.
* Friendly and supportive attitude.
* Ability to think on your feet.
* Reliable and organised.
* Trustworthy.
* Committed.
* NVQ training or the willingness to undertake NVQ training
