Job Title: Software Engineering Professional
Overview
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a key contributor in designing and developing scalable backend infrastructure for Machine Learning workloads.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and event-driven systems.
* Take ownership of tasks with a high degree of autonomy over your work.
* Work closely with the founding team to contribute towards best practices, standards, and company culture.
* Mentor colleagues, raising the bar for the company.
* Help co-hire future colleagues.
Our Tech Stack
* We leverage AWS as much as possible and manage it using Terraform.
* Services are written in C# (.NET 9) and deployed to ECS or Lambda via GitHub Actions.
* We utilize Postgres, SNS/SQS, and Redis.
* We have good end-to-end test coverage and confidence in our deployments.
Requirements
* Back-end development: At least 2-3 years of industry experience in back-end engineering, developing reliable and scalable systems with an object-oriented programming language.
* Cloud-native technologies: Experience in deploying to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP or Azure), understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker), infrastructure-as-code software (e.g., Terraform), and observability platforms (e.g., Datadog or Grafana).
* Curiosity: A hunger to learn and grow skills.
* Problem solving: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to break down tasks into actionable steps.
* Collaboration and communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
