Location: Romney Marsh, Kent
Hours of work: 37 Hour Working Week
Role information:
* Carry out core operational duties within his/her own level of demonstrated competence.
* Candidates must be a Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) on various plant items as required by the Site Licence.
* Must carry out operational tasks within scope and competence and to assist with fault investigations.
* Must carry out all Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR) and Radioactive Substances Act (RSA) surveys to approved and established procedures. (Post-defueling sites must be Health Physics (HP) Monitor Level 5).
* Will provide technical support to current and future project design and implementation.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Essential:
* Mechanical/Electrical background
* Experience of working in an industrial environment
Desirable:
* Nuclear experience
* Appropriate technical qualification e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ (NQF Level 2)
UK National Security Vetting Status – Candidates must be able to obtain UK Clearance.
