You’ll be joining a collaborative and well-respected automation team based in Peterborough, working across some of the UK’s most forward-thinking industrial and manufacturing sites. Whether it’s designing complex control panels, integrating systems, or supporting safety compliance, you’ll be hands-on with cutting-edge work that makes a tangible difference to operations on-site.
With over 20 engineers in the team (many of whom have progressed and grown with the business), you’ll find support, flexibility, and opportunities to keep learning while doing meaningful work from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate panel layouts and bills of materials
2. Carry out LV distribution and cable calculations
3. Design electrical control schematics, loop diagrams, and PLC wiring diagrams
4. Develop I/O schedules and instrument block diagrams
5. Support safety circuit design to BS EN ISO 13849/60261
6. Prepare technical documentation and assist with project commissioning
