Role: Events Steward (Casual)
Location: South Ribble and Chorley
Contract: Casual/Bank
Salary: £13.32 per hour

Do you enjoy working with people and being part of exciting local events? We’re looking for reliable, customer‑focused individuals to join our Events Steward team, helping to deliver safe, welcoming and enjoyable events across Chorley and South Ribble.
As an Events Steward, you’ll play a vital role in supporting a wide range of events – from community celebrations and cultural activities to large‑scale public gatherings. This is a flexible, casual role, ideal if you’re looking for varied work and the chance to make a real difference in your local community.
This is a casual role offering flexible working hours, including weekdays, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
What you’ll be getting up to
* Help create safe, welcoming and well‑managed events by guiding and supporting attendees
* Monitor crowds, manage entry and exit points and respond quickly to any issues or risks
* Deliver excellent customer service, greeting attendees and providing advice and information
* Support event operations, including ticket checks, traffic management and car parks
* Assist with event set‑up and breakdown and help maintain a clean, safe environment
* Work as part of a wider event team across indoor and outdoor events, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
