This is an exciting development opportunity to be part of our Hydrocarbon & Accounting department. You will be responsible for supporting routine accounting processes and managing the day-to-day production portfolio, linking our commercial, environmental, technical, and operational areas.
The department ensures compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations. You will contribute to daily activities and participate in new project work.
This role is based in Norwich, working Monday-Friday, with occasional visits to other Perenco sites.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Daily validation and verification of metering data for all Perenco UK assets.
2. Producing, verifying, and issuing daily, monthly, and yearly allocation reports.
3. Assisting teams at Bacton, Dimlington, and Wytch Farm.
4. Investigating and resolving system issues.
5. Supporting other departments with ad hoc data and guidance on agreements.
6. Serving as a point of contact for partners and handling queries.
7. Ensuring compliance with legal and contractual reporting obligations.
8. Participating in the design and implementation of new allocation systems.
9. Assisting in drafting new allocation agreements, algorithms, and theories.
Qualifications / Experience / Personal Attributes:
1. Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
2. Strong IT skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
3. Full training provided; industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
