Job Title: Assistant Brand Manager Salary: £28,000-£40,000 Location: Home-based with one day per week in our UK office Employment Type: Full-time Location: Croydon Role Overview Our client is seeking a proactive and ambitious Assistant Brand Manager to support the execution of innovative marketing campaigns and day-to-day brand activity. Working closely with the Brand Manager, you'll help drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and retail activation across both digital and physical channels. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in FMCG marketing who's ready to take the next step and gain exposure to brand planning, creative development, and commercial execution. Key Responsibilities Brand Campaigns & Planning Support the development and execution of the annual brand plan and marketing calendar. Collaborate with the Brand Manager and agencies to deliver integrated 360° campaigns. Assist in managing campaign timelines, assets, and budgets.Retail & Shopper Marketing Work with sales teams and retailers to plan and deliver in-store activations and promotions. Ensure consistent brand visibility and messaging across all retail platforms. Support the creation of customer presentations and trade marketing materials.Digital Marketing & Content Contribute to social media strategy and content planning. Manage content creation for the website, blogs, and email newsletters. Monitor digital performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Research & Insights Conduct category, consumer, and competitor analysis to support brand decisions. Track campaign performance and assist in preparing post-activity reviews.Agency & Stakeholder Management Liaise with creative, PR, and digital agencies to brief and manage projects. Coordinate sample sends, imagery, and briefing materials across teams.What We're Looking For Experience & Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or brand role, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods. Proven experience supporting marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Familiarity with digital platforms, retailer environments, and brand guardianship.Skills Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a keen eye for brand aesthetics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and project management abilities. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. A passion for food, branding, and storytelling!Working Conditions Home-based with one day per week in the UK office. Occasional travel to meetings, agencies, and retail sites may be required.
