Are you an experienced and passionate early years professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting Nursery Managers to join outstanding nursery settings based in primary schools across Peterborough, Whittlesey, and March.
These are long-term roles with the opportunity to make a real impact in nurturing and shaping the early educational journey of young children in supportive, well-established settings.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the day-to-day operations of the nursery in line with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
2. Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5
3. Supervise, mentor, and support nursery staff to uphold high standards of care and education
4. Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and school leadership
5. Monitor children’s progress and ensure detailed and accurate record-keeping
6. Oversee planning, observations, and curriculum implementation
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards
Requirements:
8. Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education
9. Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting
10. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding protocols
11. Excellent organisational, communication, and team management skills
12. A passion for early years education and a commitment to child development
