Join our Operations Transformation team at PwC Consulting as a Manager, where you will leverage your expertise in the London Insurance Market underwriting and operations and/or your professional services experience to drive underwriting enhancements and operational efficiencies.
Operations Transformation consulting, which has grown significantly over the last five years, has been identified as a critical ‘Go To Market’ proposition for future growth in PwC Consulting. We are looking for candidates who have strong consulting skillset, with experience in transforming operations within the insurance industry.
We have established a vision for our Operations Transformation practice to be a market leader, and we will deliver on that through winning and executing iconic projects and delivering industry‑specific solutions in underwriting transformation and process excellence, productivity and capacity creation across people, process and technology, intelligent operations (automation, workflow orchestration and advanced analytics), and accelerated digital process transformation.
What your days will look like:
1. Lead delivery of projects focused on underwriting and operations process enhancement and/or transformation.
2. Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and tangible outcomes.
3. Manage teams working on business analysis, process mapping, system implementation,
4. and product definition.
5. Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders in the London Market to align underwriting and operations transformation efforts.
6. Optimise underwriting processes and improve service delivery.
7. Support proposals, pursuit activity, and development of thought leadership on underwriting and operations transformation
8. Translate business objectives into target operating models, system workflows, and data requirements.
This role is for you if:
9. Proven experience in operational transformation within the insurance industry, particularly in London Market underwriting and operations - either in industry or professional services
10. Good understanding of London Market systems and key stakeholders.
11. Good understanding of underwriting workflows, product structures, and rating principles.
12. Strong ability to deliver operational improvements and manage client relationships.
13. Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
14. Hands-on experience as an Underwriter in the London Market would be highly desirable
