Job Description
What you’ll do
* Develop and maintain category strategies that deliver cost savings, service improvements, and innovation.
* Lead sourcing and negotiation activities for high-value contracts.
* Identify and apply value levers such as demand management and supplier collaboration.
* Drive supplier performance improvement through structured SRM and KPI frameworks.
* Partner with stakeholders to align category plans with business needs and strategic goals.
* Embed sustainability and risk management into category strategies.
* Manage a pipeline of sourcing initiatives and oversee contract lifecycle management.
* Conduct benchmarking and market testing to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
* Prepare and present category performance reports to senior leadership.
* Champion supplier-led innovation and educate stakeholders on procurement best practice.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
* Broad category management experience across multiple spend areas, ideally Professional Services.
* Proven track record of delivering measurable value and cost optimisation.
* Strong negotiation and contracting skills, including risk mitigation.
* Ability to analyse complex data sets and market intelligence to inform decisions.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Familiarity with supplier performance frameworks, SRM, and sustainability objectives.
* Proficiency with procurement systems and analytics tools.
