Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to food safety standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices.
* Manage inventory and food production processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
* Ensure high standards of food safety are maintained at all times.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and implement promotional activities.
* Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support for professional development.
Experience
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
* Culinary experience or formal training in food preparation is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is required.
* Experience in kitchen operations, including food production and cooking techniques.
* Background in hotel or barista services would be advantageous.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
