Role: Junior/ Graduate SEO Assistant – Normanton
Salary: up to £28k per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30am- 17:30pm

Job overview:
We are looking for either a Junior SEO Assistant or a marketing graduate who is looking for their next role.
This role is to support our SEO Executive in driving organic growth and improving our online visibility. You will play a pivotal role in optimising our website, increasing search engine rankings, and driving organic traffic.
Responsibilities:
* Content writing, creating engaging informative web copy.
* Keyword research and competitor analysis.
* Optimise website content, including meta tags, headings, and descriptions.
* Local SEO Content e.g. Google Business Profile / Bing Places
* Link building
* Monitor and analyse website performance using analytics tools to identify areas for improvement.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
* Collaborate with the marketing and ecommerce teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
* Identify opportunities for SEO improvements and make recommendations accordingly.
Whilst carrying out the above role, training will also be provided to allow skill set development if successful candidate wants to.
Required skills:
* 0-1 year of experience in SEO.
* Strong English skills
* Strong copywriting skills
* Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* A passion for digital marketing and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Desirable skills:
* Knowledge of SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush).
* Knowledge of paid search advertising (PPC).
* Knowledge of the electrical wholesale industry (not essential).
