Senior National Account Manager
~£60-70k + car allowance + bonus + benefits.
~ Home based with travel throughout the UK
~ Must have strong major retail experience, ideally in protein.


A successful family run food manufacturing business are recruiting for a SNAM for their major retail accounts.

Our client is a leading food manufacturing business dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative products to consumers across the country. With a commitment to sustainability, quality, and customer satisfaction, we partner with some of the UK’s top national retailers to bring our products to shelves nationwide.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior National Account Manager to lead and grow strategic relationships with our key national retail customers. This role will focus on maximizing the performance of existing accounts, identifying new growth opportunities, and delivering commercial success through effective customer collaboration, data analysis, and internal stakeholder management.

Account Management: Take ownership of existing national retail accounts, ensuring consistent performance and long-term relationship development.
Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth within current customer portfolios.
Customer Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail partners, managing all commercial negotiations, promotional planning, and performance reviews.
Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reporting in line with company objectives.
Leverage market data and consumer insights to identify trends and shape category strategies with customers.
Commercial Execution: Contract Negotiation: Lead annual joint business planning and commercial terms negotiations.

Proven experience (5+ years) in national account management within the food manufacturing industry.
Strong track record of growing sales with major UK retail accounts (e.g., Proficiency in using sales forecasting tools and Excel; knowledge of IRI/Nielsen/Kantar data advantageous.
Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
