As a SEN TA, this is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised support, helping pupils with additional needs access learning and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, tailored to their individual learning needs. Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and adapting materials to suit varying abilities. Promoting inclusion and ensuring all pupils can fully engage in school life. Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and social development. Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil progress. To be successful as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you should: Have previous experience working with children with SEN, such as Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties. Be adaptable, empathetic, and confident in managing different learning needs. Possess good communication and teamwork skills. Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
