Saffron Vantage are recruiting for a Document Controller to start work on a temp to perm basis for our well-established client based in Cambridge
Role Purpose:
The main purpose of the Document Controller is that you would be working as a member of the Technical team where you will be supporting and maintaining the information processes from all internal disciplines and external sources ensuring the information is effectively captured and managed for the project documentation and records.
Main Responsibilities would include;
* Coordinating and managing an effective management system in line with the project procedures, focusing on all technical and contractual documentation.
* Safeguarding the privacy and security of information stored within our client's system.
* Mange project documentation through agreed workflows.
* Ensure that documentation issued and subsequent review processes are adhered to in line with our clients' processes.
* Review and update procedures, guidelines and workflows related to the document control process
Ideal Candidate will have ;
* Experience of information/document management in the Construction Industry.
* Knowledge and experience of working of practice for information management & document Control.
* Knowledge of Electronic Information and document control systems
* Previous experience working within information management
* Knowledge of working within systems and procedures
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Competent user of office computer systems e.g. Microsoft Office
