Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in both project-based work and business-as-usual (BAU) Salesforce administration tasks. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of business processes to support, optimize, and enhance our Salesforce environment as we grow our presence on the platform.
What you’ll be doing:
* Collaborate with the Change team, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into Salesforce solutions.
* Implement declarative Salesforce configuration changes such as flows, lightning pages, custom fields and objects, page layouts, record types, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
* Develop programmatic Salesforce solutions including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, API integrations, and deployment via SFDX and version control.
* Manage deployments across environments using Gearset, ensuring successful implementation and providing hypercare post-go-live.
* Lead Salesforce integrations with third-party tools and internal systems.
* Oversee data migrations, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
What you can bring:
* Knowledge of Salesforce automation capabilities, best practices, and the order of operations, with the ability to choose appropriate automation solutions.
* Experience delivering Apex-based solutions, including invocable Apex, Batch Apex, callouts, triggers, and handler classes.
* Familiarity with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and integrating external systems via Apex callouts, Named Credentials, and Connected Apps.
* Experience building and maintaining Lightning Web Components, understanding their lifecycle, event handling, and backend integration with Apex.
* Experience with Visualforce pages, especially in maintaining legacy features or integrating with Lightning components.
* Proficiency with SFDX in Visual Studio Code.
* Understanding of custom metadata types, custom settings, and platform events.
* Comfort working with custom objects, managed packages, and standard Salesforce functionality.
* Ability to improve existing Salesforce processes through declarative and programmatic changes, including validation rules, picklists, lookup fields, relationships, and formulas.
* Experience with Lightning App Builder, dynamic layouts, and conditional visibility.
* Experience deploying metadata and understanding associated risks.
* Experience with data loads involving hierarchical data.
* Ability to work independently on projects while collaborating with the team.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience with the Litify managed package.
* Familiarity with project management tools like Confluence and Jira.
* Trailhead Certifications, especially Platform Developer I and II.
* Experience with the Titan application suite, particularly Titan Web and Titan Sign.
