Newstaff Employment Services recruiting on behalf of our client based in Enfield for a 7.5T driver to join the team. Our Client is extremely busy with a contract supplying Steel to construction companies all over the UK.
Very little handballing as the Steel is lift by crane on site.

Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team in Enfield. As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods to various destinations. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
Goods Transportation: Load, transport, and unload goods to and from designated locations.
Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle checks, report any issues, and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any required paperwork.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, ensuring deliveries are made professionally and courteously.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including the safe handling and securing of cargo.
Time Management: Manage your workday efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
* Valid UK driving license with Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) entitlement.
* Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification.
* Digital Tachograph Card.
* Good knowledge of Enfield and surrounding areas.
* Excellent driving record with no serious traffic violations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
* Regular working hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
