About the Role
We are looking for a Campaign Systems Developer to join our busy Client Data Support Team, working closely with and supporting our Senior Developer.
This is not a senior developer role — it's a mid-level position designed to provide extra hands, take on campaign system set-ups, and support day-to-day operations. Over time, you'll gradually take ownership of these operational tasks, freeing our Senior Developer to focus on new system development and innovation for Dawleys.
The role balances technical skill with a pragmatic "good enough" mindset — delivering practical solutions quickly while maintaining accuracy and reliability. You'll get exposure across telephony, databases, reporting, data manipulation, and web updates, with opportunities to grow and learn as you go.
What You'll Do
* Configure and support Genesys telephony campaigns and scripts (including APIs).
* Build, update, and troubleshoot client reporting queries to agreed timescales.
* Set up and maintain campaign databases for client data and responses.
* Carry out data manipulation tasks (deduplication, reformatting, uploads/downloads).
* Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
* Assist in redeveloping legacy systems and build/test new client solutions.
* Assist in Client website support eg content updates, and API integrations.
Skills & Attributes
Need to Have
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
* Ability to write and troubleshoot in
* Good understanding of SQL/MySQL for reporting and data queries.
* Willingness to learn and proactively develop new skills.
* Strong problem-solving mindset.
* Excellent attention to detail in data and configuration.
* Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Nice to Have
* Experience with GitHub and version control.
* Familiarity with Genesys Telephony platforms.
* Exposure to API integrations.
* Use of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot).
* Website/content management experience (SSL, security certificates, content updates).

Probation Period
