An outstanding SEN school in Wirral is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team this September. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide individualised support to students with diverse special educational needs
2. Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
3. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
4. Encourage and motivate students to participate in classroom activities
5. Track and report on student progress to teachers and parents
Candidate Requirements
* Previous school experience and familiarity with the SIMS system
* A committed professional
* An organised, enthusiastic, and proactive individual
* Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded after 20 days of work)
* Satisfactory references
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps
* Legal right to work in the UK
